Free AND banner-free web-hosting suggestions?

Hello all,

Can anyone recommend a web hosting company that

- requires no fees, besides a possible one-off registration fee

- is AD AND BANNER FREE

- allows top domain names without owning them (i.e. if you want to move to a different host, you don%26#039;t have to buy your domain name off them)?

My needs in terms of MB-space, e-mail addresses, and design gimmicks are minimal. I%26#039;d just like to launch a modest, small-business website, preferably upload the one I%26#039;ve designed.

I%26#039;ve been doing my own research, but any recommendations welcome!

http://www.brinkster.com no ads. ASP/ASP.NET support
Reply:If there%26#039;s no ads, then the hosting company are making their money somewhere and chances are it%26#039;s not going to be somewhere that makes you happy.

Hosting plans start from something like 拢6 a month from lots of companies like dreamhost - and because you%26#039;re paying, you get support and lots of other goodies.
Reply:If you are going to build a site for business purposes, make sure to get your own domain name. Its cheaper than you think. Here is a guide to getting started: http://www.richkahmer.com/build-a-websit...
Reply:Microsoft has a free solution , it is called %26quot;MS office live%26quot;

Reply:You can visit SoftSys Web Hosting at http://www.SoftSys.org. They have wide range of Web hosting plans which have over 99.9% uptime and with support of ASP,ASP.NET (1.1 %26amp; 2), PHP(4 %26amp;5),etc,etc.. They have near to free plans(starting from $10.99/yr). I have 16 sites hosted with them and they are rocking. Dam cheap and excellent support. I guess, they are setting new standards in web-hosting business.

If you are looking for putting up a business website, I suggest you shouldn%26#039;t go for free hosting. Its risky affair.

Happy Hosting!

Reply:If you are serious about creating websites for your business, don%26#039;t go for free webhosting as they are not reliable and you may end up losing all your work. They usually put ads on your websites and it could be annoying.

If you are planning to create websites (usually you will end up more than 1 website), go for multiple web hosting where you could handle your websites in one account.

I would suggest following webhosting , they are quite good.

Hostmonster http://www.hostmonster.com/track/ryukend...

They offer hosting of %26quot;unlimited domains%26quot; and you will get massive webspace of 200000 MB (200 GB ). They only charge $5.95/month and they offer %26quot;a free Domain Name%26quot; and installing service called %26quot;Fantastico%26quot;. By using Fantastico, you could create own forum, photo gallery, shopping cart (e-commerce),your own auction site and your own blogs within few seconds. They also offer %26quot;Free Website Builder%26quot; as well.

Visit the site to check details.

Following site is quite good to register domains as price is reasonable with free privacy. Some charge about $5/ year just for free privacy.
